summertime fashion: easy&effortless.

during summertime with the heat and all that stuff i often get really lazy, i just wanna pass the whole day sleeping. this affects also my way of dressing up: i like to be very casual during day time; i wear clothes that are comfortable and that will not make me feel too hot.

high-wasted, low-waisted, studded or ripped, denim shorts will always be a must. also, always have a pair of sunglasses with you, there are times of the day when the sun is very strong and you definitely want to protect your eyes.

avoid the heat by pinning your hair in a messy bun or a messy side braid.

i usually like putting on make up, but in the summer i suggest wearing a very little amount of it. all you need is an eyelash curler, mascara and bronzing/blush. i don't wear foundation during the day because i often feel like my face is melting and my make up gets all messed up; but remember, you should always apply spf to protect your skin from the sun.

therefore, this summer i'll try to embrace my natural beauty keeping the make up to the minimum.

holidays in the sun.

today was very very very sunny day in rome, it was insanely hot! i hate being a couch potato, so i spent time with my good friend giulia. we had coffee, we took a walk in EUR and then we had dinner. it was a very simple day, but still i had a really good time.

everyone tells me i am obsessed with my my phone, which - i admit - is kind of true. iphones are just so fun and unique, i never get bored! plus, i love my iphone cover! it's a baby pink rabito case, i purchased it on internet a few months ago, and it's just so cute that i never get tired of it.

i really love pastel colors in the summer; today i wore my chanel nouvelle vague (527) nail polish; when this color first came out, two years ago, i just fell in love with it instantly, as soon as i saw it. the color of the brandy&melville skull bracelet that i'm wearing is very similar.

fashion & relax.

so finally summer started. i don't even know for how long i've been waiting for this moment... probably from the end of last summer. it's probably my favorite season, because school's finally over and i get to go to the beach and hang out with my friends all day long. plus, something i really like is relaxing and sunbathing. i recently have been spending every single morning, lying on the deckchair that is in my balcony, reading a book or listening to music. this is what summer is all about. relax.
